42 weeks

Juni loves to dangle upside down and would stay that way all day if her Papa would let her. We got her a doorway bouncer last week. She will just squeal and squeal as she spins and bounces. She had her 9 month check up with the orthopedist and her hip is still growing correctly so far. Another check up in 3 months. This week her Aunt Lina and cousin Remy were in town to see Lina's cousins, so we were able to go over and see them for a couple hours. Juni was excited to meet new friends.

41 weeks

Favorite thing to do this week: pull herself up to standing, anywhere, anytime. Juni has really been babble babble babbling this week. Her sounds are coming out like our words and she loves to talk and talk with us. Her next teeth are still pushing on her gums pretty bad, but haven't cut through yet.

40 weeks

Juni is able to do so much on her own now. She remembers where her toy basket is, she waves at us from across the room, she points at things she wants to go to or see, and she gives us real hugs. She can scoot, crawl, sit up from laying down, pull herself up to standing, swivel around while sitting, and climb up and over everything. She loves to cuddle and snuggle more than ever. Right now she loves to pull all the toys out of the box again and again and again. My baby girl is 9 months old. We were all sick with colds again, so you might notice a runny nose or two in these pics :)

39 weeks

This week Juni got a visit from Grandma and Grandpa Williams. She loved having new friends to play with. She showed them all her tricks and kept us all entertained. Zach and I even got a few hours of alone time. We hadn't been out without Juni since she was 3 weeks old and we left her with my mom for 40 minutes to go get ice cream, when I was still eating dairy, obviously. It was relaxing for us and a nice adventure for Grandma and Grandpa that we were all thankful for. Juniper continues to improve her dexterity. It is so fun to watch her flip her wrists and twist and stretch her fingers while playing with her toys. More teeth are on the way, but who knows how long it'll be before they cut through.

38 weeks

Juniper is really getting the hang of moving around. Last night she crawled all the way across the floor to get to a toy she wanted. I bought a new carrier (Ergo) this week since she was growing out of the other one. She loves it! It is much more supportive for my back and she is much more relaxed in it. I was questioning if it would be worth it or not this late in the game, but I am SO glad that I did buy it. I know we will still get a lot of use out of it. She started making two new sounds this week. She now "clocks" her tongue off the roof of her mouth and trills to her heart's desire. I wish I was better at speaking Spanish so I could help her keep her trill, but Zach is trying his best!  Her 2nd tooth cut through on Wednesday! She is doubling in size before our eyes!! She has had a sound or word for me since she was 2 or 3 months old, so I never really shared when it clearly became "Mama" but she does clearly says Mama and Papa now.
