sister....love? haha

21 weeks

This week I bought a sound machine to see if that would help Genevieve sleep a little more sound. It seemed to help some nights, but others, not at all. She is enjoying playing with soft toys so much. We've been trying to give her all these textured toys to chew on and she just never seemed interested, but when Juni brought her an all soft toy, she was in heaven, squishing the fake fur and sucking on the soft fabric part.
Juni continues to make Genevieve giggle each and every day by spinning, dancing, and just having fun. She likes to tell us that Genevieve is her baby sister and nobody else's! And that she is the best girl in the world :)
Papa is finding his groove while having the girls at home on the weekend while I am at work. Genevieve still won't take a bottle. :( Maybe one day? For now, I'm thankful I work close enough that he can bring the girls to me and I can take a break and nurse her. I feel bad he has to pack everything up and bring them, but for now, that's what's working best for all of us, and then Juni gets some out and about time too!

tea party with san pellegrino on a hot day :)
She started out lying on my legs, she sat up, stood up, then leaned over onto my legs. She's so strong and so comfortable in the water.
Hi, Mama! Yep! I'm filling out size 9 month clothes already!! My legs just keep getting longer!
I guess I understand why people ask me if I highlight Juni's hair! :)
Grandma Susie, this one is for you :) THIS is when Mama was laughing :)
Genevieve is already a professional Juicy petter :)

20 weeks! Look how big Genevieve is compared to Juniper! Craziness!
Genevieve has been making a "Mama" noise for a couple weeks now. Zach said yesterday while I was at work she would hold up her arms for him to pick her up, then when he would, she would hold up her arms again and say, "Ama, Ama!" My sweet, sweet girl knew her Mama was missing.

...only a few more days until Nebraksa! Deep breath! Lots to do! We'll see you soon!! :)

20 weeks

This little beauty finally let me take a few pics of her this week... as long I was quick and had no demands of the photo :)

20 weeks and just as beautiful as can be!!
We've had some smooth days this week and some not so smooth. Her sleep pattens at night have lost all regularity and her tummy hasn't been doing so well, probably due to something I ate. Ugh. The never ending battle with no real answer. Poor girl. One day, fingers crossed, she'll grow out the madness like Juni did.
First picture I took with my new phone since my old one finally died for good. Yep, she's still beautiful!! :)

19 weeks

Some weeks I feel like I am so connected with myself and my family. I feel like we make great memories, even doing simple things like going to the park and just enjoying each other. This week was not one of those weeks. To be honest, I don't even know where it went. I feel like we spent too much time inside and I was too anxious over nothing. I still love my family. We still survived. But I'm not sure we did much else. I hurt my knee on a run last week and it's still difficult for me to even stand up from sitting on the couch. so I haven't felt like going far. I had to work Father's Day morning, but was able to get off a little early. We didn't do much but watch a movie during nap time and I made a dinner of Zach's request.

 Big girl! :)
 Happy Father's Day, Papa!
 Sister Love
 19 weeks 6/16/14
She trys like a champion to sit up from laying down. She is holding her arms up (sometimes) when she wants to be picked up. She loves, loves, loves to be outside. She is so aware of everything around her. She laughs at her sister all day long and loves to look at the magnets on the fridge and stay upright in the walker toy. She still seems to be suffering from her teeth a bit, but is sleeping a little better, but still not like she was before this teething mess.
Juni wanted to put on her fancy shoes for the picture, so her grandmas and grandpas could see :)

The hummingbirds are now regularly using the feeder all day long.
Juni decided to have a toilet paper party and unroll it from the bathroom, through the living room, around, and back again! And then she picked it all up and threw it over her head to have a party. I love her :)

4 months, 18 weeks

 4 months 6/3/14
She's babbling more these days, pushing up off of us with her legs all of the time, enjoying staring at the trees, and swinging in the hammock. Her teeth are trying their darnedest to make an appearance, so that means less sleep and lots of drool!! She's not digging bottled breastmilk, at all, but she's still doing just great drinking from her mama.
we made cupcakes filled with marshmallows, and berries from the farmers market, and all things fun :)
 4 month check-up! 25 3/4 inches 94th percentile! 13 pounds 5 ounces 62nd percentile!
 18 weeks 6/9/14
Those teeth aren't giving her much of a break, but she's enjoying life the best she can.

Juni offered to tie Zach's shoe! :)
My little climber! She's been climbing the big rocks down to the water after our run to the beach and this day she was determined to climb the tree! I love her :)
The tide was finally at the right place for her to touch the water :) :) :)
wiped out after a horribly out of whack sleep schedule. Asleep on the changing table after a diaper change. :/
