11 weeks/Easter

After Juni's birthday and birthday party I feel like this past week just flew by in a pile of nothingness. This past weekend I changed the girls' clothes out for the next size up (6 months and 3t) and started sorting through my mess of maternity/non-maternity. I'm feeling a lot of anxiety as we prep for the trip home. This first trip with Genevieve when she is still so little and she still needs so much "stuff" has been stressing me out for weeks. I've been planning away at Kristina's bridal shower, which we will have while I am home. I am so excited for it, but to transport all of that "stuff" along with everything our family will need for two weeks is a bit daunting. I wish I could just transport us and all these things we need with a snap of my fingers.

For Easter is was a half regular day as Zach was still prepping for being off from work for two weeks and had to take a variety of calls throughout the day, per our Sunday usual. We did manage to hide some things for Juni outside that morning and then die a few eggs in the afternoon. We grilled for dinner and ate outside, but I think Zach and I were so overwhelmed with thoughts of the trip we couldn't relax and enjoy ourselves. There are always so many questions to be answered.

The first daffodil bloom coming up. All the others were just leaves?
 Enjoying our flowers inside
Juni helped me dye eggs but wouldn't let me take her picture, so I teased her and told her I was going to tell everyone Genevieve did it.
 Juni's morning findings
Look at that gummy bunny, and the cute girl struggling to eat the gummy bunny! Ha!
Holding her orange Peep out by the flowers.
No Peeps for this girl...yet :)

3 YEARS!!!/10 weeks

It was a busy week around here with Juniper's actual birthday and her little birthday party. We had lots of fun and lots of overwhelmedness :) getting ready for everything while still just getting through each day. However, it was so nice to spend time with our friends and help Juni to feel so extra special.

The last couple days all 3 of us girls have been fighting some pretty awful allergies so you'll see some puffy eyes in these pics :/

 enjoying her flowers

It was a very warm afternoon, so we played with the hose a bit :)

Genevieve was getting too squished, poor girl!

sleeping beauties... the first couple of weeks they somehow managed to take a good nap at the same time, but since grandma Candy was here, this was the first time I got them to nap at the same time again

If you look close, Genevieve is actually smiling :)
 BIRTHDAY! April 11th 3 YEARS OLD :) :) :)
opening her sticker activity books from Erin and fam
she is overwhelmed, excited
She loves her little doggy from Uncle Nels, Aunt Lina, and Remy!
Jumping in her birthday dress and light-up Ariel shoes
I think it is also apparently birthday tradition that she doesn't want to look at the camera while I take her picture in her birthday dress
A nice girl (stranger) sharing her car ride at the mall
opening new panties and bowling set (below) from Grandpa and Grandma

Just after blowing out her candles.... it looks like someone already snuck some frosting ;)

Ariel/Under the Sea party dolphins and seals
blue jello with swimming swedish fish (don't do this, those fish disintegrated... bluck!...but the kids loved them still, thank goodness)
Juni and her friends eating lunch at her party
 ...and the adults too
Papa is happy with his new grill! (Happy early anniversary to us!)
birthday group walking to ice cream shop
 Happy Birthday to Juni!

Genevieve asked for milk shortly after everyone arrived, and then slept in the carrier through the entire party :)
One of her favorite gifts... a little bunny with it's own bed and bedding
.....and she wakes up, after everyone went home :)
and she loves her pretty new dress
 the blues
enjoying her giant lolli from her birthday at the mall

sister love, Saturday cartoons on the couch
Even though Juni's birthday isn't until the 11th, we are having just a couple of people over on the 12th, so she got her big gift from her mama and papa this weekend, so her and papa would have time to put it together before her little party
that large black dot, near the umbrella hole, a fly on her picnic table already! Ha! ...and we hardly even see flys out here ususally!
 I think she likes it
Juni woke up from nap on Saturday, hopped up on Papa's lap, and fell right back asleep, for 2 more hours! growing girl!
"Mama, I know you are excited it is warm enough this weekend for me to wear spring clothes, but please just pick me up." ...okay, baby, okay
