22 months.... since the 11th.... while we were in Hawaii

Oh my little Juni-O, you are growing up more each day, becoming my little-big girl. You love to help feed Juicy her food each night and you are quick to grab a towel and clean up any "mess" Mama makes while cooking dinner. You care for all of your babies so sweetly, rocking them and never forgetting where you last left them. If we let you take any of them out with us, you are sure to keep track of them the entire time we are out. You love to be tickled and just giggle with us. Your baby days are dwindling.

Favorite Words: "Mmmm, delicious!" music (she has started asking for music quite often, instead of Calliou), potty, dance, play, outside, Colin's house, uh huh uh huh uh huh (:x my fault :>)

Firsts: Juni has now stuck things up her nose (a dried blueberry and then a different day a pretzel stick) Thanks to Papa's Google searching, we figured out how to cover one nostril, and blow in her mouth, shooting the object out. Take note, it works!

Favorite Foods: Pickles! chicken, blueberries, apples

While walking around Town Center, Papa randomly went back in time to Christmas and said, "Ho ho ho, Merry...' and Juni was quick to follow up with, "CHRISTMAS!!" We were shocked, since we didn't even remember her saying it at Christmas time.

While playing on her own and pretending to talk on the phone I overheard her say, "Hello, I'm here, mama cooked, pears, apples." It was so adorable I got teary eyed.

She can count to ten, while still using "Six" for four occasionally, but she is using four more and more each day.

We used Juni's Christmas money from her Great Grandpa and Great Grandma to buy her a pop-up tent. It said on the (fairly small) box it was 5 feet high, so we were excited that it would be big enough for us to play in with her. And it certainly is! Is is actually so big that it can't expand all the way in our living room, but Juni is in love with it. When we folded it up to put away she cried and cried, "Tent! Tent!"

Her new favorite cartoon on PBS is Calliou. I still try to limit it to one per day. Some days she doesn't watch any, but some days she gets away with a couple episodes. She knows the opening theme song, which is just pretty much his name three times and then, "That's me!" but I find her singing it in the car, and the store, and just around the house. She has started to sing along with the ABCs too and chimes in the the last letter of the phrases.

She is starting to form her own sentences. "Please milk more." "Read this book." "Papa car drive." "Juni stairs climb." I enjoy so much getting a peek at what all those babbles of the last year plus have been.

Sitting on the couch like a big girl.
